Soviet Subliminal Seduction will be having the distinguished honour of opening the new electronica festival Phono Festival in Odense on Thursday 28th of September. Further more Soviet Subliminal Seduction will be playing @ Den Borgerlige / Sølystgade Beboerhus on Friday 6th of October. with two bands yet to be announced. The forthcomming Soviet Subliminal Seduction album (You Thought You Were) The Seven In Six Six Six will be released by the infamous Danish underground label Helicopter Records. Due to this sudden turn of events the official release of the album will be slightly delayed until sometime August. January '06 Some good news for once.

Subliminal Seduction has been brought back to life. Having a fully completed
yet unreleased album in the drawer and a fresh look at things, Soviet
Subliminal Seduction will be continued after all, as a studio project. There
will be no live performances, and the output is expected to be scarce. The
forth comming album carrying the title (You Thought You Were) The
Seven In Six Six Six will be out during the spring/summer of 2006 when
it has been mixed. Further more SSS with be on a compilation LP released by Black Light Records during the spring of 2006. What will happen next is not quite certain. Some ideas involve a return to 70ies inspired kraut/psych stuff with multi layer guitar dubbing madness, and/or inviting specially selected players to jams and studio sessions. We'll see... |
